Substance 3D Community Manager
The Art and Development team in Adobe 3D & Immersive is looking for a Community Manager to support our incredible community of users. We are a large team of creatives who are passionate about empowering and enabling 3D artists everywhere. This position is a full-time, hourly, contractor position.
What you will do
Be one of primary faces of the Substance 3D brand and help build a positive, engaged and active community.
Build strong, positive, and empathetic relationships with our community of artists, and serve as voice of customers. You have base familiarity of 3D tools and pipelines, including our own product features, and you proactively help community members find information they need to be successful with our entire suite of tools.
Drive the strategy for our community outreach, partnering with the Evangelism and Product Marketing leads. Develop a quarterly user engagement plan, create content. 
Own and maintain our community feedback / issue operating model. Help triage and respond to inbound comments, messages, and social chatter (Community Forum, Discord, and social platforms such as YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Meta). Review community posts for policy violations. Collect feedback and synthesize insights from community interactions to share with the product development teams, as well as surface/flag critical issues. Familiarity with Sprinklr is a major plus.
As part of the community engagement plan and to achieve overall engagement goals, recommend specific initiatives such as livestream, art challenge, collaborative project, contests, and other community focus events especially on Discord.
Consistently scour the web for outstanding Substance 3D artists for artwork highlights, relationship building, and paid collaborative projects.
What you need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience managing online communities
- Exceptional communicator, written and verbal
- Strong empathy for development teams and their customers
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms like Discord, Instagram, and TikTok. Proven understanding of what successful content looks like for these platforms
- 3D art or pipeline knowledge, specifically with Substance 3D suite
- Proactive planning and collaboration skills
- Experience partnering with Events, Marketing, and Content teams to create compelling community experiences
- Analytical thinking with the ability to pivot strategies based on benchmarking and reporting
- Extroverted, social connector with deep empathy and positive enthusiasm
- Willingness to travel, sometimes internationally
- Work in a multicultural context with a team located in different regions of the world.
