Substance 3D Community Strategist
The Art and Development team in Adobe 3D & Immersive is looking for a Community Strategist to grow and nurture our incredible community of users. We are a large team of creatives who are passionate about empowering and enabling 3D artists everywhere. This position is a full-time, hourly, contractor position with the possibility of a full-time role.
What you will do
- Develop and Implement the Substance 3D Community Strategy: Create strategies to grow, engage, and nurture our community, aligned with business goals and in partnership with our Evangelists, Events, Content, Product Marketing, and Product teams.
- Foster Community Engagement: Design programs and initiatives (such as livestreams, meetups, contests, collaborative projects) to encourage active participation and interaction within the community.
- Manage Community Platforms: Help triage and respond to inbound comments, messages, and social chatter in collaboration with our Social Media Manager and product teams. Own and maintain our forums, Discord, and other community platforms, ensuring a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Measure and Report on Community Metrics: Establish baselines, track and analyze community engagement metrics (e.g., user sentiment, growth, high value interactions), providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
- Advocate for Community Needs: Collect feedback and synthesize insights from community interactions to share with the product development teams and surface/flag critical issues.
- Build Relationships with Key Community Members: Identify and cultivate relationships with influential community members, advocates, and thought leaders. Develop a 3D “Insider Community” of external artists for artwork highlights, relationship building, and collaborative projects
What you need to succeed
5+ years of experience growing and managing online creative communities, with experience developing strategic plans and tracking success metrics
- Analytical thinking with the ability to pivot strategies based on benchmarking and reporting
- Experience partnering with Events, Marketing, Product, and Content teams to create compelling community experiences
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong empathy for development teams and their customers
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms with proven understanding of what successful content looks like for these platforms
- Some 3D art or pipeline knowledge, specifically with Substance 3D suite
- Extroverted social connector with deep empathy and positive enthusiasm
- Willingness to travel, sometimes internationally
- Work in a multicultural context with teams located in different regions of the world
- Candidates in Eastern Time (ET) highly preferred
- Familiarity with Sprinklr is a plus
