Laurens Corijn, Lead Technical Artist, 3D & Immersive, Adobe
Laurens Corijn is a lead technical artist with a background in videogames, having worked at Splash Damage (project Dirty Bomb) in London and EA Dice in Stockholm (Mirror's Edge Catalyst). His focus is on procedural, smart workflows, and enabling other artists to create better work in a more efficient way. These days he mainly works on training and education for Substance 3D.
Louise Melin, Technical Artist, 3D & Immersive, Adobe
A self-taught 3D artist, Louise is a former Philosophy teacher. Specializing in Aesthetics, she decided to quit academia to dedicate her time to her passion for 3D art in general, and texturing in particular. Louise is now a Technical Artist for 3D & Immersive at Adobe.

Emily Bisset, 3D Technical Artist, Adobe
Emily is a 3D Technical Artist at Adobe. With a background in product and fashion visualization, she enjoys all aspects of the 3D pipeline but specializes in texturing and look development. She is always excited to hear about and discuss the latest 3D art trends and whether they can streamline current 3D workflows. Emily takes great enjoyment showing people new ways to make their design processes easier, which is why she loves talking about and teaching Substance 3D tools!
Sneakers, trainers, or kicks — create a custom design on a 3D shoe with 3D artist Emily Bisset. Learn how to use Substance 3D Painter to craft unique textures directly on 3D models and turn a generic object into a personal statement. Nikie Monteleone currently spends her days working on new and exciting creative workflows with the Art & Development team at Adobe Substance. With 20 years of entertainment industry and graphic design experience, her specialty is making things look shiny, matte, dull, bright, realistic, or stylized with textures, materials, and lighting. She has worked with some of the top animation studios including Nickelodeon, DreamWorksTV, LAIKA Studios and their spin off studio HouseSpecial on a wide range of TV series, commercials and movies. Now stepping into the tech world, she is using that experience to push creative boundaries by breaking buttons and pushing pixels to help create more artist friendly workflows! When she's not busy doing what she loves, catch her in LA enjoying any and all types of cheese with her adorably cute but crazy Boston Terrier.
By popular demand, Nikie Monteleone, 3D artist at Adobe, is back with tips and techniques in Substance 3D Stager to help you achieve photorealistic appeal in less time. Using typography as the focus, she’ll show you how to work with lights, cameras, and editing tools to create, stage, and render an eye-catching scene constructed from 3D assets. This lab highlights the complementary relationship between Creative Cloud apps and Stager to bring new perspectives to your designs.

Nick Sharma, Sr. Industrial Design Evangelist, Adobe
Nick Sharma is senior industrial design evangelist at Adobe, with a background in industrial design for some of the most recognizable brands in the world. With a focus on the footwear and apparel industries, Nick has applied his creative skills at the Innovation Design team at Adidas, the 3D Design & Engineering group at Lululemon’s footwear division, and as textile specialist for Hua Fung Textiles. He has covered most bases in the industrial sportswear world and worked with multiple startups to ideate, create and launch new products. Nick has a passion for sharing his expertise and has taught designers across multiple major sportswear companies to embrace the latest 3D tools and workflows.
Explore the 3D workflows for CMF (Color, Materials, Finish) design in the industrial, automotive, and packaging industries. Join Nick Sharma, senior industrial design evangelist at Adobe, to discover how your CMF designs can be faster, more accurate, and more useful with Substance 3D. Wes McDermott is a technical artist and strives to improve his work by finding a balance between technical knowledge and artistic expression. He leads the Worldwide Substance 3D Evangelism team at Adobe and is known as an expert Substance teacher and the voice behind many Substance tutorials and presentations. Wes is also the author of The PBR Guide: A Handbook for Physically-Based Rendering, Real Word MODO, and Creating 3D Game Art for the iPhone with Unity.
Robert Hranitzky, Sr. Professional Video Evangelist, Adobe
Robert is a filmmaker and motion designer and works at Adobe on the Video Evangelism Team. With more than 20 years of industry experience in motion design, 2D/3D animation, and creative direction for projects ranging from opening titles to film and showroom trailers, he loves to inspire and give back to the creative community. He is a sought-after speaker on many industry events around the globe and enjoys sharing his passion for directing, making movies, VFX, and motion graphics. When he is not entangled between keyframes, you can find him most likely either playing or watching Basketball.

Ian Robinson, Creative Director and Motion Graphics Trainer, Creative 111
Ian Robinson is a creative director and trainer specializing in motion graphics and visual effects. Working in broadcast for over 20 years with such clients as Discovery Channel, National Geographic International, PBS, and Google. Over the last several years he has enjoyed watching the definition of “broadcast” evolve first hand. As an author and trainer, Ian is the co-founder of the online learning website Creative111, an author for LinkedInLearn- ing, and has written books for Peachpit and Adobe Press. When he’s not designing or teaching, you can often find him exploring the rocky mountains of Colorado.
Join Ian Robinson, owner and trainer at Creative 111, as he shares his most valuable tips and techniques for taking 2D motion designs into 3D space.
