Nikie Monteleone, Creative Workflows Manager & Senior 3D Artist, 3D & Immersive, Adobe
Nikie Monteleone currently spends her days working on new and exciting creative workflows with the Art & Development team at Adobe Substance. With 20 years of entertainment industry and graphic design experience, her specialty is making things look shiny, matte, dull, bright, realistic, or stylized with textures, materials, and lighting. She has worked with some of the top animation studios including Nickelodeon, DreamWorksTV, LAIKA Studios and their spin off studio HouseSpecial on a wide range of TV series, commercials and movies. Now stepping into the tech world, she is using that experience to push creative boundaries by breaking buttons and pushing pixels to help create more artist friendly workflows!
Giovanni Nakpil, Head of Visual Development, Worldwide Substance3D Evangelism, Adobe
Giovanni Nakpil is the Head of Visual Development, Worldwide Substance3D Evangelism at Adobe. He is deeply influenced by the magic of sci-fi and horror films. His multidisciplinary interests have led him to explore a variety of roles across the United States. Such roles include Digital Model Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), 3D Artist at Valve, and Art Director at Facebook. During his time in tech, Gio took on the challenges of pioneering emerging consumer products for the world of virtual reality.
Charles Ellison, Character Artist, Modeler/Sculptor
Charles is an Animation industry veteran of over 20 years. Notably during that time, he has served as a Head of Modeling for DreamWorks Animation where he supervised both Trolls and its sequel, Trolls World Tour. He also brings an extensive resume as a 3D artist for such franchises as How To Train Your Dragon, where he helped develop characters and environments for each installment of the beloved trilogy, and other DreamWorks films such as Kung Fu Panda 2, Rise of the Guardians, and Abominable. In more recent years, Charles has served mostly as a Character Visual Development artist where he has helped bring to life many franchise characters for upcoming projects from both DreamWorks Animation and Netflix Animation, and currently serves as a 3D Character Designer and Visual Development Artist for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation.
